Being a mom of two, I know first hand the challenges of extreme fatigue, pressures from society to “do it right”, balancing relationships and familial responsibilities, struggling with mood fluctuations and at times feeling unable to cope well. Pregnancy and the first-year postpartum are particularly vulnerable times for mental health in a family eco system. Having undergone specialized perinatal and maternal mental health training, I carry the insights needed to address a range of presenting concerns. Whether you’re navigating infertility, stress during pregnancy, postpartum anxiety or depression, mom rage or overwhelmed with the transition to parenthood, my goal is to provide a safe and nurturing environment for healing. I firmly believe that the therapeutic relationship we build during our work together is important to both practitioner and client. Having an individual share their personal story is incredibly meaningful to me, and I consider it a true honour. Life offers us challenges and oftentimes we need a little support navigating these difficulties through major life transitions, like growing your family.
I see my approach as being integrative, collaborative, and about true connection. I want my clients to feel seen, heard, validated, and understood in whatever they are feeling and experiencing. It is my belief that we are the experts of our own lives and I aim to help women recognize unique inner resources, allowing you to reach your full potential. At the heart of my practice lies a trauma-informed approach; recognizing that many of our life experiences may have left emotional imprints, I am dedicated to creating a space where clients can find solace and strength. With a profound understanding of the challenges that women face during crucial reproductive points, I draw from a rich tapestry of therapeutic approaches. My training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness and Solution Focused Therapy equips me to tailor strategies that empower you to navigate your emotions and experience with resilience.
Together, we will unravel complexities, identify strengths, and pave the way toward a brighter, more resilient future. Wherever you are at in your journey: I see you, I hear you, and I am here to join you.

Fostering relationships and connection come first, as I believe these form the foundation for successful outcomes. We connect, we have fun, and most importantly, I meet you and your child where you’re at, providing you with the tools needed to support communication development. I am a breastfeeding mother with over 1,000 hours of clinical experience helping mothers achieve their breastfeeding goals. My goal is to help families achieve their own unique breastfeeding goals. In 2000 I graduated from Queens University with a BCOMM and worked for four years in the strategy consulting and banking world. After leaving the corporate world I received my Yoga Teacher Training Certificate in Cape Town, South Africa and my Classical Pilates Certification in Hong Kong. I continue to teach yoga and pilates to pre and postnatal mothers.
In 2007, I graduated from the Ontario College of Homeopathic Medicine with a Professional Diploma in Health Sciences and Homeopathic Medicine. I practiced as a Homeopathic Practitioner with a special interest in pregnancy, pediatrics and women’s conditions.
In 2011, I graduated from the International Breastfeeding Centre/ Newman Breastfeeding Clinic’s Lactation Medicine Program where I worked as an intern directly under Dr. Jack Newman and Edith Kernerman. In 2014 I became an Internationally Certified Board Lactation Consultant (I.B.C.L.C).
Why should it matter that I am an Internationally Certified Board Lactation Consultant?
An International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (I.B.C.L.C) has passed a fully accredited, rigorous 4-hour examination set by the International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners (IBLCE). Prerequisites for the board examination include thousands of hours of clinical work and dozens of educational credits in Anatomy & Physiology, Cultural Diversity, Psychology & Counseling, Child Development, Nutrition, among others. The IBLCE certification is recognized as the Gold Standard for health professionals working with breastfeeding women, and all I.B.C.L.C.s are required to adhere to IBLCE’s Professional Standards.

As a mom of three kids ages 4 and under, I understand the challenges of caring for our own bodies while supporting the development of our little ones. This is why I am passionate about both pelvic health and pediatric physiotherapy. I would be honoured to support you through some of the physical changes that come with pregnancy, delivery, and the post-partum period. Together we will find how physiotherapy can fit into your life so you can minimize discomfort during pregnancy, prep for delivery, and maintain or return to the activities you love to do – and even become stronger than before pregnancy (no matter how long ago you were pregnant!).
Once your little one arrives, they may need some extra support meeting motor milestones and addressing other physical concerns such as torticollis, brachial plexus injuries, and plagiocephaly. I love working with families to support their children in a fun, playful and engaging manner. I am also able to address pelvic health concerns in children including incontinence, bedwetting, and constipation.
I completed my Physiotherapy training at Western University with additional training in Pelvic Health and Pediatric Physiotherapy. I have also completed a Master’s degree in Neuroscience and a PhD in Physical Therapy at Western University which help me understand the important role the nervous system plays in both pelvic health and child motor development.

After experiencing birth & post partum with my first child I was left wondering if I had done it “right”? I began reading and educating myself on everything I could to prepare my body and mind to heal and prepare for my second pregnancy. It was during this time that I found my passion - supporting birthing people and their families and celebrating the transition to parenthood.
Although I am no longer an active doula attending births, I am still very connected to the birth community. I am lucky to have the opportunity to connect with new families through facilitating Rebirth’s Childbirth Education Workshops. Sharing knowledge and experiences to both educate and empower birthing people is something I am very passionate about.
I believe that knowledge is power and support is key in so much of what we do in our birth journey.

My journey into birth work was a transformative experience; after combating postpartum depression and postpartum anxiety with my firstborn, I began spending all of my waking moments trying to learn about motherhood, it’s diverse range of experiences, and it’s learning curves. I became fascinated by the profound transition into motherhood and amazed by the lack of support and awareness mothers receive when it comes to their brand-new journey. Before I became a mother, I completed an Honours degree in childhood and social institutions, with a certificate in advocacy and minor in psychology. I have worked in children’s care sectors for over ten years and am a registered early childhood educator. My passion for education and supporting the family in a holistic manner is part of what drove me to become a full spectrum doula and perinatal educator after my second child was born in 2020. I am well-versed in topics from pregnancy up until late childhood! It is with this combination of knowledge and passion that I strive to offer fresh and new ways to support mothers and families in their journey, meeting them right where they are.
My perinatal training includes:
- Full Spectrum Doula
- Childbirth and Perinatal Educator
- Empowered Birth Training
- Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders: Components of Care Certificate

Parenthood is vulnerable and raw, yet we are asked to present perfection to the outside world. In moments, you may feel the happiest you’ve ever felt, yet perhaps also the most lonely and lost. You want the best for your child, sometimes to your own detriment. You deserve the same tending to and care that you give to your child and I hope through our time together, you can get in touch with a new sense of self-compassion, acceptance and connection to meaningful motherhood.
I am a Registered Social Worker and Canadian Certified Perinatal Mental Health Practictioner (CC-PMH). Drawing from Acceptance and Commitment therapy, self-compassion and mindfulness, my approach to counselling is, at its core, relational. I aim to create a warm, non-judgmental environment where you can feel seen, heard, and understood. I deeply appreciate that every parent’s journey is unique with their own strengths and values. As a mom to a strong and sensitive toddler, I have experienced first hand the impact of new motherhood, learning to trust my parental instincts, and doing my best to balance caring for her and caring for myself - all in the midst of sleep deprivation!
Parenting feels hard because we are not meant to do it alone. I look forward to being part of your village and community as you dedicate this time to yourself. Whatever you are experiencing from pre-conception, through pregnancy and postpartum, I hope I can support you in connecting to the parts of you that bring joy and fulfillment.

For the past 12 years I have provided counselling, treatment, and support to some of the strongest and most resilient people I have ever met. I’m still in awe of the vulnerability that people often bring to a counselling session. I truly admire the courage it takes to reach out and speak your truth. My passion is supporting women and mothers with their mental health and wellness.
I recognize the impact mental health can have in our lives; including the ability to mother, and to mother in a way that feeds our soul. I have personally experienced the heartache and strain that mental health can have on our ability to cope, function, and thrive in life. As a mother, I have learnt that if we prioritize our own mental health and wellness, it can positively impact our parenting and overall sense of self. They say it take’s a village to raise a child, but I believe it takes just as much love, compassion, patience, and encouragement to raise a mother. We all have our own limitations and personal struggles. I believe that this is where a supportive community can be born and this new identity as a mother can flourish. I look forward to seeing this unfold in the Mothering Your Mind group and in our 1-1 sessions.
For the past decade I have supported women and their children to manage and overcome depressive symptoms, anxiety, addiction, eating disorders, and a variety of other life challenges. I have a Bachelor of Social Work (Honours), a Trauma Treatment Certificate, and I’m a Registered Social Worker. I come to the table with a kind heart, a very compassionate and focused mind, but I also bring a sense of honesty and trust into everything I do. My counselling style incorporates Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, and Solution Focused treatments. I have offered 1-1 counselling sessions over the years, as well as facilitated over ten different types of treatment groups to men, women, and their families. I believe in the power of mindfulness, grounding, and yoga, as tools for good mental health and wellness. I’m currently studying to become a certified yoga instructor. However, what I am most proud of above all else, are the three little ones who call me Mom. This journey has not been an easy one, but they say the most meaningful things in life are not. I am beaming with a rich light of energy, excitement, and love, with simply knowing that I will have the privilege to walk alongside you on your journey as a Mom.

Since becoming a Registered Nurse (RN) in 2012, I have been passionate about working with families in the perinatal period! Having a baby is one of the most fulfilling and rewarding times in a person’s life, but it can also be one of the most overwhelming, especially when faced with infant feeding challenges. My own journey as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) began after the birth of my first child, Hudson, who was born with a significant tongue-tie. Hudson and I faced many breastfeeding challenges but I was lucky to have received the support of a couple amazingly talented IBCLCs. After overcoming these challenges, I felt called to shift the focus of my career to work with families experiencing difficulties with breast/chest-feeding. I have since helped hundreds of parents and babies to navigate all sorts of infant feeding challenges and have also gone on to breastfeed two more children of my own!
Having worked through the experience of tethered oral tissues (TOTs), aka tongue and lip ties, with two of my three kids, I have taken a special interest in TOTs as an IBCLC. I have attended specialized trainings related to working with infants with TOTs and have gained some very valuable expertise in working with these babies. Whether your baby may have TOTs or not, as an IBCLC, I will use my skills, knowledge, and experience to help you and your baby to overcome whatever feeding struggles you may be facing.

Parenting can be magical, beautiful and life changing. Sometimes though, it can also be nothing like how we imagined it would be. After over a decade of experience working with parents and children in the London community, as well as working internationally, I have developed a passion for supporting individuals and families in managing difficult times in their lives in order to find balance. Whether it be through infertility, the worries of pregnancy, the adjustment of new-parenthood or experiencing a child with higher needs/ neurodiversities, you deserve to have someone on your side to navigate these uncertainties.
I know the ups and downs that come with parenting. Dealing with the daily attempts to manage everything can be overwhelming. As a mother of four amazing and uniquely individual children myself, I have lived experience with this venture. I also know the benefits of building an amazing support system and resources from which to utilize during difficult times.
Outside of my work as a social worker, you may also see me around Rebirth as one of the yoga instructors. If you have ever attended any of my classes, you will know that I truly believe one of the greatest benefits of yoga has to do with its effect on our minds- by being able to become present, slow down, and turn inwards. This is why, along with various therapeutic techniques, I find benefit from incorporating somatic tools into our sessions in order to gain access to the nervous system and discover peace within our bodies and our minds.
You are not alone in this journey. Together, we can explore difficult emotions, and develop tools which you can draw upon to thrive during this challenging season in your life.
